We remember and celebrate the life of Deborah B. Thompson, a spirited, carefree soul who gathered lifelong friends wherever she went. Deborah embraced life with an open heart—an adventurer at her core who saw the beauty in every path she took.
Throughout her life, Deborah wore many hats that brought her joy: teacher, church leader, real estate agent, student, and property owner. Whether traveling the world, helping others find their perfect home, or searching for deeper meaning, she lived with passion and intention.
Deborah was known for her love of red wine, her adventurous spirit, and her ability to always find the positive. Her favorite memories were the ones spent on the move, especially traveling the country in a refurbished 1963 GMC bread truck with her husband, John.
She lived by the words: “If it’s not OK, it’s not the end, for it’ll all be OK in the end.”
Deborah is reunited in peace with her son Mark Thompson, and her parents, Darwin and Leona Barnes. She leaves behind her loving husband, John Davidson, and her daughters Kari Allen, Daisy Thompson, and Stephanie Davidson, who will carry on her legacy of openness, adventure, and connection.
To those who knew her, she will be remembered for her openness to life, her willingness to sit down for a chat, and the warmth that surrounded her wherever she went.
In honor of her memory, donations may be made to The Water Project, a cause close to her heart.
A celebration of Deborah’s life will be shared with family and friends.
Daisy, Kari, and John want to thank the Hope Hospice Team 330, who made the transition and saying goodbye an experience of love, togetherness, and peace.
