Angela Jean Hager of Littleton, Colorado passed away peacefully in her bed with her daughter and son-in-law present on Friday, July 31st. She was 83 and lived a good life.
Angie enjoyed being active and loved going on her daily walks whether it was with her dog (Annie and later Dyson) or upon moving to Littleton, CO with her friend Karen. Angie also enjoyed line dancing with her girlfriends in Trinidad, CO. And in her younger years you could frequently find her climbing a mountain, going for a hike, or going on downhill and cross-country skiing adventures. She loved to joke and laugh and wear tie-dye clothing. She believed in Jesus Christ as her savior and knows that she is at peace in heaven now.

Angie was born in Saginaw Michigan on January 9, 1943, to Joseph K. Helmbold and Norma Frost Helmbold. She graduated from Millington High School in 1961 and went on to attend Ferris State College earning an Associate of Applied Science degree. For most of her working career she worked at the Colorado Driver's License Bureau and took early retirement from the state at 55.
She was married to Glenn Bamberger on August 7, 1965, and divorced in October, 1993. And was married to Charles (Chuck) Hager on July 19, 1996, and divorced in January, 2023.

She is survived by her daughter Carrie Bamberger Weinstock (Aron Weinstock), grandson Stephen Thomas (Sarah Thomas) and two brothers Dale Helmbold and Bill Helmbold (Sharon Helmbold), two sisters, Joann Helmbold and Darlene Taylor (Warren Taylor). And was predeceased by her son Steven Scott Bamberger aka Steve Whetstone, and brother Jim Helmbold along with her parents Joseph and Norma Helmbold.
Memorial Services will be held at Horizon Christian Fellowship at 5470 S. Lowell Blvd Littleton, CO 80123 on August 22nd at 1:00 p.m. with light refreshments to follow. Her request is for everyone to wear tie dye or bright colors. The service will be live streamed via YouTube and may be found at Horizon Christian Fellowship Denver.
